You will be required to provide proof of citizenship to enter Mexico. Passport is required for entry and for re-entry into the United States.
 
Print two copies of the page in your passport, which includes your picture, passport number, issue and expiration date. Keep one copy in your wallet or pocket and one in your luggage.  This can be very helpful entering and leaving the country if your passport is lost.

Five world class golf courses can be found from 10 to 25 minutes away by taxi. Course designers such as Robert Trent Jones, Pete Dye and Jack Nicholas have all designed spectacular courses in Los Cabos. Most with incredible ocean views. Sunset cruises, snorkeling, horseback riding, parasailing, waverunners, and even ATV rides to the desert are all available in Los Cabos. Our activity desk can help with all your arrangements.

SEASON AT SOLMAR RESORT, CABO SAN LUCAS
The fishing in the fertile waters off of Cabo San Lucas is truly great all year long. The Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez here and with many offshore underwater canyons and seamounts the water gets very deep very quickly. Our striped marlin population is abundant all year long and have earned Cabo the title of Marlin Capital of the World. February, March and April are favorites for these fish. Dorado, tuna and wahoo are also available at that time. In the summer months when the water warms the dorado and tuna action increases and peaks in the months of August, September, October, and November. The first two weeks of December can also be very good. Every year yellowfin tuna over 200 lbs and dorado over 80 lbs are brought to the dock. Big blue and black marlin migrate in at this time to feed on the smaller dorado and tuna and landing one of these fish in the 400-600 lb class is not unusual. Cabo is famous for it's fall marlin tournaments where total prize money can be over one million dollars!

HOW TO GET TO SOLMAR RESORT, CABO SAN LUCAS
Fly directly into LOS CABOS (SJD) International Airport. Taxi into Cabo San Lucas (a twenty five minute drive) and check in at the hotel.

There are so many different rooms and boats that pricing a fishing package is complicated. I know the photos make this look expensive, but the rates are very reasonable. This is an affordable Mexico fishing adventure!!
