THE LODGE IN SITKA, ALASKA
You will be able to relax easily at Sitka Point Lodge. Our Alaska fishing resort is located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean just five miles north of downtown Sitka. The lodge has five double-occupancy rooms and 3-3/4 baths. Our new cabin has two double occupancy rooms, a loft and two full bathrooms.

Sitka Point LodgeWe also provide wireless Internet access for the lodge and cabin, so you can check your e-mails and brag to your friends and family back home about how much fun you are having on your Alaskan fishing vacation. Local phone calls are free.

Sitka is served by cellular service, so you can use your phone, if needed, but why would you want to?

We provide warm appetizers upon your return to shore. After a day on the water, you can also relax even more by watching satellite TV or lounging in front of the wood stove in our fine Alaskan lodge.

You and your party may want to watch our late Alaska sunset—11 PM in July!—from the hot tub on the second floor deck of the lodge. Views are spectacular! It's common to see Orca and humpback whales, sea otters and sea lions frolicking in the waters next to the lodge. Bald eagles are abundant, soaring overhead to nearby nests.

For dinner, our chef will have your mouth watering with one of his many gourmet meals. (His specialty is seafood!)

Here at Sitka Point Lodge, you can relax with your party and enjoy Alaska's wonders in the comfort of our resort, and, for a while, forget the hassles of work.

FISHING INFORMATION FOR SITKA POINT LODGE AND CHARTERS
Our fishing boats are geared for Alaskan fishing and meet US Coast requirements. These include GPS chart navigation systems, Citizens Band radios, VHF radios and electronic color depth and fish finders.

Our boats have a heated cabin for your comfort. We limit groups to four fishermen per boat—five by special request at the time you make your reservation. This is the best number for safety and comfort out on the water.

Be prepared to start early.

We will head out bright and early to do some world class Sitka fishing at 5am just after breakfast. The sun will already be up by then and on the way out we will try to catch an early salmon using lures or mooching. (Don't worry, your friendly crew will explain it all as they help you set your line.)

We will teach you how to successfully fish in the Sitka Alaska watersWe will continue to fish for salmon for a while, then head farther out to try to hook some halibut at the bottom of the Alaskan sea.

During our time out on the Alaskan water, you will be provided wet weather gear and all the tackle required for success—getting salmon, halibut, snapper or ling cod to take home, and lunch, too!

You will be back to shore after about ten hours of fishing. Immediately upon arrival, your catch will be cleaned, cut into pound to pound-and-a-half portions, vacuum packed, flash-frozen and boxed for you to take back on your flight home. You can watch this process or go enjoy the complementary appetizers in the lodge before getting ready to sit down for a gourmet dinner with our renowned chef.

Sitka Point LodgeSitka's history is alive with Native-Alaskan and Russian culture. The Russians established a fur trading post at the town's present site and maintained it until Alaska was purchased by the United States in the 1860s.

Sitka was a major port in the mid-1800s and a center for lumber and the fur trade.

Located on the western coast of Baranof Island, Sitka has retained many of the Native and Russian influences, including historical buildings as well as museums and cultural centers that are within walking distance of each other.
