Anglers Inn was the first to introduce the world's anglers to Lake El Salto. As a matter of fact, the lake wouldn't be producing the super action it does if they hadn't worked with Mexican fish officials to introduce pure Florida strain bass when the lake was still in the process of forming.
Regardless of where your travels take you, sooner or later things boil down to just people. The staff at Anglers Inn is just awesome. They take care of every need of each visitor. And this is true whether you're fighting saltwater game fish like marlin, sailfish, snook, roosterfish or during the down time you have when you've come in from fishing for bass on famed El Salto Lake.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES AT ANGLERS INN EL SALTO
They have a great couples package and will take excellent care of non-angling spouses including manicures, pedicures, massage, shopping, and other tours. They also have a wide selection of activities to choose from in Mazatlan like dove or duck hunting (Nov 1 - Feb 28), light tackle fishing or bill fishing. They can build you a custom packages for your perfect vacation taking care of your every need.
SEASON AT ANGLERS INN EL SALTO
Anglers Inn season runs from October 1st to June 30th. The fall months are great for sheer numbers and top water fishing along with big fish. February and March is when the bass are spawning and then it goes to deep fishing from April to June. They catch big fish all year round but it is up to you on how you like catching them! Best top water months are October - April.
HOW TO GET TO ANGLERS INN EL SALTO
Getting to the Anglers Inn Lodge at El Salto Lake poses no problems. You get to Mazatlan and they'll take it from there. Lake El Salto is located in the state of Sinaloa about 1 ½ hours from the picturesque port of Mazatlan and about 800 miles from U.S. Border at Nogales, AZ. Mazatlan is the main gateway city for commercial flights and private planes: You'll be met at Mazatlan's International Airport by members of the Anglers Inn staff. They'll see that your luggage gets to the Anglers Inn Lodge when you do. There will be a tray full of their special Margaritas waiting for you! All Ground Transportation is included.
ANGLERS INN EL SALTO 2010 RATES
During the coming season we’re offering two different packages. One is our Mobile Suites Package. Anglers who book this visit will stay in fully equipped trailers behind the Anglers Inn dining room. These trailer units have everything you need including bath & toilet facilities, air conditioning and an in room phone. Because of their location they do not offer a view of the lake. The charge for a standard 4-night 3-day package in these mobile units will be $1765.
Guests also have option to book our Deluxe Package. Those who do will stay in rooms overlooking beautiful El Salto Lake. Each of these rooms has a private bath, lots of storage space, private phones and television. We’re also offering guests who book our Deluxe Package an additional half-day of fishing. You can fish on the afternoon of your arrival or in the morning on your day of departure.
The price for the Deluxe Package featuring 4 nights and 3 days of fishing is $2015.
FLY ANGLING IN THE FALL AT ANGLERS INN EL SALTO
Attention fly fishermen! The fall season always offers the best action of the year for fly anglers. El Salto is at full pool and bass chase forage fish up into the shallows. It’s a perfect set up for users of the long rod. We’re offering a special Anglers Inn package for fly fishermen. For a limited time, fly fishermen get a “2 for 1-1/2 special.” You pay full price, but your companion gets a 50 per cent discount. Remember---this is for fly anglers only. To qualify you’ll be required to use only fly fishing gear.
WHAT'S INCLUDED AT ANGLERS INN EL SALTO: 4 Night/3 Day fishing package, deluxe lakeside lodge (based on double occupancy), 17 ft. Tracker boats, 48 hp Yamaha engine at Lake El Salto and 20 ft. Custom fiberglass boat with 75 hp Yamaha engine at Lake Mateos, 55 lb. thrust Minn Kota trolling motor, Humminbird depth finder, guide, all meals at lodge, open bar (national drinks), soft drinks, Gatorade, purified bottled water and ice, laundry service, ground transportation to and from lodge and airport. PLUS AN EXTRA FREE HALF DAY OF FISHING UPON ARRIVAL OR DEPARTURE. (Note: An extra $50 surcharge per person applies from Mazatlan to Mateos).
NOT INCLUDED AT ANGLERS INN EL SALTO: Airfare, gratuities for guides and staff, reels, fishing tackle, fishing tackle and any other items of a personal nature.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS NEEDED AT ANGLERS INN EL SALTO
You will be required to provide proof of citizenship to enter Mexico. Passport is required for entry and for re-entry into the United States.
Print two copies of the page in your passport, which includes your picture, passport number, issue and expiration date. Keep one copy in your wallet or pocket and one in your luggage. This can be very helpful entering and leaving the country if your passport is lost.
