Guatemala is a beautiful Central American country with hospitable people and fabulous fishing. All of our operations provide excellent tackle so there no need to bring your own. That said, those of you who want to bring your own tackle, especially lighter gear, are encouraged to do so if you so desire. And fly anglers will always want to bring a good assortment as fly gear is not often provided to the level that is necessary.

- Lightweight long-sleeve shirts
- Lightweight walking shorts
- Lightweight long-pants for fishing
- Lightweight rain jacket
- Tennis shoes
- Sandals or Flip-Flops
- Bathing Suit
- Suntan Lotion With Sunscreen of 30 SPF or higher
- Lip Balm w/ Sunscreen
- Polarized Fishing Glasses
- Hat
- Flashlight
- Binoculars
- Camera
- Mosquito Repellent (available at most destinations)
- Alarm Clock
- Fly Box and specialized tackle
- Large flies for Tarpon, Sailfish and other saltwater species
