Montana Checklist

Montana -- just the name give you an instant vision of "Big Sky", desert sage brush, and feisty rainbows and browns in crystal clear streams. The rivers and lakes of this western fishing mecca are full of hungry fish and we've got some great people waiting to take you out to try your luck. Weather is seasonal. Summers are hot and winters are cold. Spring and Fall can be mild or harsh....sometimes both in the same day. One key to success in Montana is knowing what flies work and when. The local flyshop will have the answers, but you can call us and find out a lot before you go. Our office staff has countless hours on Montana rivers. 1-800-356-6982.
