Brazil requires a TOURIST VISA and passport for entry. We can help you obtain the tourist Visa.
Print two copies of the page in your passport, which includes your picture, passport number, issue and expiration date. Keep one copy in your wallet or pocket and one in your luggage. This can be very helpful entering and leaving the country if your passport is lost.

For the past 8 years, David McCarthy has been a Booking Agent for Peacock Bass Fishing trips in the Amazon. Recently, David made the decision to devote all of his time and resources as a full-time Owner/Operator. Throughout his entire adult life, he has worked in Sales and Customer Service. With many awards, accolades, and recognition in each of these areas, he understands that by providing the ultimate in customer service and satisfaction makes Hooked On Adventures’ operation second to none. David recognizes the value of reputation and “repeat business” and is looking forward to long-standing relationships with his clients throughout the future.
Pamelah Howard - Director of Sales and Marketing
Since 1987, Pamelah Howard has worked in Customer Service and Sales also holding an active Real Estate License in Georgia. Situated at our Georgia location, Pamelah has an extensive background in coordinating “Peacock Bass Fishing Trips of a Lifetime” for customers to the Amazon Basin. Going forward, Pamelah will oversee the booking aspects for David McCarthy’s peacock bass fishing operations. Most of you have worked with Pamelah in the past, and you can continue to depend on receiving excellent customer service from her.

SEASON AT AMAZON PEACOCK BASS FISHING ADVENTURES
The fishing season starts in September and goes through March. Best time is from November through February, but we'll try other rivers in the offseason that are virtually untouched. Keep in contact if you are interested. Sometimes excellent special pricing is available.

Your trip begins when you leave home and fly to Alanta or Miami, where you'll connect with your direct flight to Manaus.

Wake up every morning to gourmet breakfasts with the knowledge that in a short time you will be out on the open water experiencing heart-pounding Amazon fishing like no where else.
ADVENTURES (Itineraries may change prior to booking)
- Friday – Flight to Manaus.
- Saturday – Take Float Plane or Express Boat to camp. Possible half a day of fishing.
- Sunday – Friday: Six full days of fishing.
- Saturday- Return to Manaus. You are on your own for the afternoon and evening for touring Manaus and enjoying dinner with your friends.
- Saturday Night: 10:00 pm greeting in hotel lobby. Take flight back to USA.
2012 RATES AT AMAZON PEACOCK BASS FISHING ADVENTURES
TRIP PACKAGE PRICE:
$4950 pp
FLOAT PLANE ACCESS: Upon arrival in Manaus, you will be transported to a hotel to spend the night. Early the next morning, you will be transported to the airport for a 1 - 2 hour flight to the launch point. You will begin fishing immediately, and you will fish for about 6 ½ days. At the end of your fishing time, you will return to Manaus by charter plane for your trip home.
EXPRESS BOAT ACCESS: We have available a fast boat that can transport anglers from Manaus to their fishing site within a 5 – 7 hour boat ride. The boat is constructed with Business Class Airline Seats which recline for a comfortable ride. A host or hostess will serve refreshments, and the boat is equipped with rest room facilities. Upon arrival in Manaus, the client will be transported to the boat and will leave immediately for the fishing areas. Most of the trip to the fishing area will be at night, and most of the return trip will be during the daytime. Clients are able to fish about 5 ½ days.

- Fees associated with obtaining your passport or visa
- Fees associated with pre-trip medical planning and medications
- $112 pp Manaus fisheries conservation fee.
- Domestic air or ground travel from your home city to Atlanta or Miami
- International airfare to Manaus, Brazil
- Gratuities to staff personnel
- Personal Expenses in Manaus, i.e. shopping, meals, and city tours.
- Overweight luggage charges from the airlines or charter flights
- Fly fishing gear
- Airport departure taxes (if applicable)
- Hotel stays (if necessary) in Atlanta or Miami
