Rod and Reel Adventures Monthly Email Newsletter
WELCOME
Happy New Year everyone! I can't believe how fast the years seem to go by as I get longer in the tooth. And I'm realizing that the newsletters are becoming less important as I am doing so much more newsy items in my blog. Don't worry, I'll keep sending you something to keep in touch and let you know anything newsworthy, but mostly it will be a link to my blog and the list of destinations that you might want to consider for your next fishing adventure.
The blog can be accessed by going to http://travelandfishtheworld.blogspot.com
At the blog, you can find fishing tips and techniques, trip reports, and little bits of important information that have made the jump from my brain to the Internet. This info can help you make better informed fishing travel decisions. I hope you'll follow the blog, and make comments on what you read. It's always a pleasure to hear from you.
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE BLOG - I am interested in any fishing travel information or stories or photos that you all have. I will gladly blog about them to the world and give you full credit. Please email me anything you think might be blog-worthy and I'll publish it.
NEW FISHING DESTINATIONS (Some brand new, some just new to us)

HOSTED TRIPS
My wife and I are hosting a trip to Silver King Lodge in Costa Rica from February 27 to March 5 of 2011. We have room for a few more anglers and non-anglers if you are interested. The price is very reasonable and flights are as low right now as I've seen them in a couple of years.
Our hosted Alaska adventure now has dates! August 1-6, 2011. Come with me to fish for salmon and halibut in the salt on one day, hike in to fish trout and salmon on another day, float a Kenai Peninsula stream one day, and fly-out to a more remote location on the fourth day. All this for only $1995 per person plus airfare, license, tips, and drinks. Trail Lake Lodge is the destination and I'm looking forward to this exploratory adventure.
FEEDBACK AND NEWS
We added a form on the website NEWSLETTER FEEDBACK to facilitate hearing from you. Please use this form to let us know how we can better serve you, if you notice any errors on the site, or if you just want to tell us a good fishing story. The form also stores your contact information for future newsletters so I can stay in contact with you.
NEW GUIDELINES FOR TSA - Transportation Security Administration
Click on this link (www.tsa.gov)for all the latest information on travel. Flying has become much more of a hassle than it used to be, but knowing the rules before you leave home makes everything faster and easier for all of us.
Thank you so much for your time and your business. I am blessed to have clients, potential clients, and friends like you!
