GENERAL INFORMATION FOR WESTCOAST FISHING ADVENTURES, TERRACE, BRITISH COLUMBIA
British Columbia has become the destination of choice for
fishing enthusiasts wanting a wide variety of choices for fresh water
species. Our friends at Westcoast Fishing Adventures offer
extremely good fishing at really reasonable prices compared to that of
the more "famous" area rivers. You know the ad where they say "the
purpose of famous rivers is to distract people from the really good
ones"? Well these guys have it figured out. It's only a matter of time
before more people find out. They are the home of all five species of
Pacific Salmon and Steelhead. Chinook, Coho, Pink, Sockeye and Chum
Salmon all come home to their river systems. They have everything,
except, overcrowded combat fishing. Although, you may experience the
rare sighting of another fisherman.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES AT WESTCOAST FISHING ADVENTURES
None. This is a fishing lodge. Although I suppose the non-anglers could hike around town or eat some donuts at Tim Hortons. 
SEASON AT WESTCOAST FISHING ADVENTURES
In
March or April when the rivers drop into shape the monster hog
steelhead start showing up around the region. I can't name the river
where we got the 30+ pounder last April for fear of retribution. In May
the springers start and go strong into June. July and August are Pinks,
Chums, Sockeyes, then the fabulous Silvers. Summer steelhead are in
full swing by August and go strong through October. This is fishing
paradise!
HOW TO GET TO WESTCOAST FISHING ADVENTURES
Fly into Terrace, British Columbia on United partnering with Canada
Air. Gill or one of his staff will pick you up at the airport for your short
drive to the lodge where you'll check in, get your license, and ready
yourself for your adventure.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS NEEDED AT WESTCOAST FISHING ADVENTURES
You
will be required to provide proof of citizenship to enter the
Canada. If you are a U.S. citizen then a valid passport or an
original birth certificate accompanied by a valid driver’s license will
be accepted. For all other countries a valid passport is required.
Print
two copies of the page in your passport, which includes your picture,
passport number, issue and expiration date. Keep one copy in your
wallet or pocket and one in your luggage. This can be very
helpful entering and leaving the country if your passport is lost.
