GENERAL INFORMATION FOR ALASKA RAINBOW POINT LODGE
Rainbow Point Lodge is located 220 miles southwest of Anchorage,
Alaska on Lake Iliamna and is a premiere Alaskan destination for
freshwater sport fishing. During your stay you can fish for eleven
different species of fish: Kings, sockeye and Chum salmon, as well as
Coho and Pink salmon, or trophy Rainbow Trout, Arctic Char, Dolly
Varden, Arctic Grayling, Northern Pike and Lake Trout. Their guides are
well versed on the most successful techniques and the hottest spots to
assure your fishing success. They offer the finest accommodations
available. Relax in the main lodge with your friends as your mind
retraces the day's adventures. All the amenities you'd expect in a fine
hotel are here - electricity, heat, hot water and daily maid service.
Enjoy world class dining in the comfortable dining room. Gourmet meals
are prepared to perfection by their professional chef. If you have any
special dietary needs, just let us know before your arrival and we will
be sure to make the proper arrangements. Each evening you will also
enjoy hot hors d'oeuvres. Take some time to relax . From the comfort of
the glass enclosed lounge you can watch the majestic brown bear comb
the shoreline in an endless search for food.

Experience world class sport fishing in the heart of some of the most breathtaking scenery Alaska has
to offer. This area includes world renowned rivers like the Copper,
Gibraltar, New Halen, Talarik, Kvichak, Nushagak, Mulchatna, Moraine,
Funnel, Battle, American, Kamishak, Amakadori and the "Cone," to name
just a few.
During our trophy trout fishing seasons (Spring and Fall), guests
come from around the globe to fish for monster rainbows that exceed 17
pounds. Keep in mind that these are native rainbows in an unspoiled
setting, just like nature intended. During late Summer and through the
Fall fisheries, the salmon provide a tremendous food source for the
trophy Rainbows, Arctic Char, Lake Trout, Arctic Grayling and Dolly
Varden.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES AT ALASKA RAINBOW POINT LODGE
Spend the day viewing brown bear and wildlife, digging for clams on
the coast, searching the beach for agates, visiting a natural soda
spring or one of the only two freshwater seal colonies on the planet.
Try your hand at hiking, boating, panning for gold, or photography, or,
participate in one of the available fly-casting or fly-tying clinics.
If you'd rather take it easy, kick back in comfort at the main lodge
with a video or just curl up with a good book.

The fishing season runs from June to October and starts and ends based

HOW TO GET TO ALASKA RAINBOW POINT LODGE
Arrive
Anchorage on Sunday evening where you will taxi to a local hotel for
one night. In the morning you will taxi to the LAKE HOOD airport in
Anchorage and fly into Iliamna, Alaska aboard a commercial
charter such as Iliamna Air Taxi or PENAIR. The Rainbow Point people
will pick you up at the airport and
fly you out to the lodge Monday morning for your six day trip.

Our minimum reservation is 3 nights with a deposit of $500 due upon reservation. 50% is due within 30 days and the remaining balance is due by May 15th. Our cancellation policy allows a full refund if the space is rebooked. We accept both Visa and Mastercard.

Six full days of guided fishing on some of the worlds best salmon and trout rivers; All lodging and meals, guides, rods, reels, tackle, flies, and license are included as are all boats and planes to get you to the very best rivers to fish and the sights that this area has to offer. Flight seeing tours include Katmai and Lake Clark National Parks; Brooks Falls to view Brown Bears, glacier tours, tours of the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes, Eco Tours of Intricate and Kokhanaok Bays and the village of Kokhanok.
